I'm looking for a Blu-ray player (for use with a TV) which is as narrow as possible. One not much wider than the drive would be ideal. Most seem to be wide and low. And likely full of space inside. ;-)

i'm using a pc connected to a 32" lg tv right now using hdmi. i also have a blu ray r w to put in it.

And if the OP would like to watch a blu ray whilst someone else is using the computer? or the computer is in a separate room/floor of the house and he dosent want a 50 foot long HDMI cable running down the stairs and across the living room carpet,
You may as well tell him to buy a PS3 slim for the living room TV, blu ray player, internet connected, game playing all in one unit not much bigger than most blu ray players, and easier to locate as it can stand on it's end.

i'm connected to the monitor/tv in my dining room on my desk. the media center is currently ooa as i need to rebuild it (reinstall windows and linux as my sons screwed the system up) and top up the liquid cooling system.
anyway. the guy could also use a transmitter from his pc to his tv. my brother uses that setup and it works very well.
