Smallest but one Stihl. Though that may be nearer £175.

Seconded (both Husqvarna and the need for a spare chain)
Also I find the the Dremel chain sharening tool indispensible.
I did manage to buy a Stihl on the internet but I had to do some persuading.
I would also suggest buying whatever you can easily get spares for locally.
The 14" Makita is not bad at that sort of money...
Don't use it to cut your steak and chips!
