In Houston, Texas, in the late sixties or early seventies, an Olshan Demolition Co. dump truck similar to this left a jobsite. The operator had left the handle in the wrong position. He took off, and the bed started raising. The farther he got away, the higher the bed came up. He took out about twenty blocks of wiring and poles before people waving at him could stop him.
