hey Travis, I've been unable to get onto the newsgroup but at least I have the internet! if you would let those know that i'm hanging by Vinca vines massive storms the last three days. over 8 inches of rain so far in faerie holler and the ridge, lightening struck Miz Mary's tree and split it in half..no damages that I can tell yet to my holler and woods. old fashioned phlox and Mary Emma's white and pink striped phlox driving the hummmingbird moths insane. had a most magical moment with the Rufus hummer in the SIX FOOT YELLOW 4'O CLOCKS, he didn't see me or care. sipped and squeeked and ignored me and then hung out in the Blue Enigma salvia which isn't as thick but came back despite the freezes. life is..........intense. but I'm a tough old girl, I am trying to get to where the glasses are prescribed and then will find a job, something anything. will work two part time's if I HAVE TO just getting too old for this crap. (((((huge hug))))) maddie

Just to keep those of you whom I care about on the pages of maddie's life.. just healing from the cataract surgery and hopefully will get the prescription glasses so I can bloody SEE up close so I can get a job to be able to keep the electric on. internet has been shut off as of last week. phones the week before, but still have a Sprint line thanks to the generosity of John and a Cingular thanks to the generosity of my friend, Molly because the Sprint requires me going down the driveway to get two bars of signal.....can't use it until after 7 central time but anything is better than nothing!! Faeries are keeping me distracted, as is just getting through each day. cleaning out the house, wondering if I will have to give up home and move somewhere, but where??? will keep those of you on the alert when I DO something more definate. My love to you all, you now have my yahoo account address.......keep in touch? I drive to Morristown to get on the internet at teh library (15 miles away) there is that, right? No word on Mary Emma about if she had a heart attack. No word from Beverly about her sweet husband George since his stroke last Sunday. Good thoughts and positive love to everyone.... maddie up on the ridge somewhere, back in Faerie Holler, overlooking English Mountain in Eastern Tennessee
