Big screws, no other option really or it wont be secure, go deep enough to get into the metal frame inside the plastic,

Of course you'd bugger any warrenty up doing that, so maybe ask the suppliers if you have warrenty remaining that you expect to use... useless i found when a window unit cracked.. on the inside due to it being too tight in the frame, they charged us £200 to replace it, and wanted to charge us that much again when it cracked again 6 weeks later (summer heat caused it to expand, couldent and cracked eventually) but they eventually fitted a slightly smaller glass unit when we mentioned court and trading standards.

Of course that was coldseal, who are no more, so the remaining 7 years of the so called warrenty is worthless, but i rekon it was to start with.

I have a security bar built into the door, the door has a simple thumb turn which causes a metal bar to potrude about 8mm from the door itself. This engages with a mechanism in the frame and resricts the opening to

50mm or so. Not sure if these can be retrofitted or not.
