Does anyone have experience with the Sugatsune 388 Series Folding Bracket?

was planning to use them for a 24"x24" flip-up table in the walk-in closet.
Could someone describe how this bracket's mechanism works? Are they easy to unlock or do they require significant force to release the lock?
