Today I went looking for a compound miter saw and settled on the 12" Makita LS1221 CMS. Lowes had the best price going at $279.99 . Together with a 10% coupon from Lowes I bought it for $266.16 with tax. That by its self was the best deal I could find.
When I got home I found a link to a new Makita promotion that allows me to get a Makita 5" random orbital sander # B05010K free! These go for $60.00 on Amazon. Since I just got the 6" Ridgid ROS for Christmas I am going to sell the Makita on E-Bay but I thought I would let the folks here know about this offer.
