Hello All,
I just sanded the stain off an old dresser, and to my surprise, the wood underneath is actually green. Was this the result of the type of stain, or what?

I just sanded the stain off an old dresser, and to my surprise, the wood underneath is actually green. Was this the result of the type of stain, or what?

It may be the wood itself. Some woods, especially poplar, can have a green color.
