flycut

Hello When talking about screws , what does the term flycut mean? Is that those screws that will turn in one direction only? Maybe for security? One part of the screw is machined away so it will turn clockwise , but can't be backed out. Thanks. ron

Flycut = A groove along the shaft of the screw, which prevents wood from splitting.
