of plywood work pretty hard - and you definitely have a good, functional workspace now.

Take the leftover 9" piece, cut a section large enough for a keyboard and mouse tray, rip the remainder into 4 pieces for the slides. One pair of strips on the bottom of the desktop and the others attached to the tray as slides. Use three metal pins in the rear half of the moving slides to slide in grooves in the fixed pieces. Joe
