Expecting someone else to tell you what's wrong when you don't even identify the equipment in the question is pointless. Brand and model at the minimum.

The belt or chain could be broken. Or a shear key may have sheared on a pulley.

Planers generally have at least 2 belts/chains.

It's dead, Jim. Buy a new planer.
