Need repair to jalousie window

Aug 11, 2012 1 Replies

The Jalousie Windows were installed sometime the 1950 or 1960. I bought the house in 1993 so I don't remember the date of the windows. I add a problem with opening some of the windows. Today I found two sides (one window) that were broken and would that a replacement.

Just bend out the top or interior tabs (you'll see the bottom slit or break in the frame) and slip-in new glass. They're very easy and forgiving to work with. Even the lack of crank response usually just means they need lubrication...dishwashing liquid, WD-40, 3-in-1, car motor oil, etc.
