Wooden flooring ?

Jan 23, 2005 3 Replies

Hi does anyone know what i can use to fill the gaps around a covering of mdf so i can lay some lino type flooring. The original wooden flooring was so bad i have put sheets of mdf down to cover the cracks, but i want to fill the little gaps around the egdes. I originally thought about the leveling compound that you can buy but i think the moisture in this would blow the mdf. Anyone got any ideas please.....

How about gripfill type adhesive?

You can squeeze it into the gap like sealant, level it off with a putty knife or some such, it will set hard.

how wide and how deep are the gap
