At the same age, in a nursery school run by the Sisters of Mercy, I was taught by rote the prayer:
"Hail Mary, full of grace, blessed art thou, a monk swimming".

My mother used to claim she got told off when saying grace before eating by saying 'We thank thee Lord for this sour food'.
I left out a bit. The quote should have been:
"Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou a monk swimming..."
I think its been removed, but rathergood.com's animation of Simply Red's ''Bunny's too tight to mention" was scandalously funny...
