Which Zinsser

We have some felt tip marks on out kitchen wall and after 2 coats of silk emulsion they are still showing through. Which Xinsser do I need to buy to block these stains from returning or is there an cheaper way to do it.

Thanks

Err, have you thought to ask them directly?

Polycell Stain Stop? B&Q sell it, works fine.

WTF is Xinsser (or Zinsser for that matter)? Not words or names I've come across before.

As for stopping the stains, any oil based paint or one of the proprietary stain blocks. A can of spray stain block is very convenient, it drys pretty quickly and won't go off in the can.

A coat of either stain block or oil based undercoat, or oil based eggshell. If you're near poundland, they have eggshell for =A31 in er, interesting colours.

Paint over the stains with oil based undercoat, then use the emulsion.

Doubt that'll work unless you choose a waterproof PVA and I'm not sure that will either. Oil based paint or proprietary stain block product.
