I have lost one section of canopy support (don't ask) and thus need a replacement. I have the matching pair from the other side, i.e. a pattern.
It's 22mm diameter aluminium (well, a smidgen over, 22.2mm). Are there places where one can get such a thing fabricated? It would probably have to be somewhere I can get to so I can provide the pattern. I'm in Suffolk but between there and London would be possible.
It will need filling with sand and capped and annealing before bending. Don't remember the temperature but the traditional guide is wiping soap over the ali and heating until the soap turns brown. Depends on wall thickness what sort of bending forces required as to whether DIY is possible

There's lots nearer Ipswich too, however they are mostly steel fabricators, I'll have to phone round when I'm back home on Monday and see if any of them can bend aluminium tube.
