Yes, it's typical of the Screwfix site, where frequently you'll find almost-identical items with different descriptions, which leaves you struggling to work out what the actual (often crucial) difference is between the items!

Seems pretty clear to me. One says Steel, zinc plated and the other says Stainless steel.
the nut is fitted to the left hand end of threaded metal rod, and to the right hand end of studding.HTH
Of course: but why refer to one as "studding" and the other as "threaded rod"?

Probably because that is how the respective manufacturers refer to their product.
