I've been sent a schedule of works for sorting out a laminate flooring after a leak. It contains a few line that refer to R&R. What on earth does this stand for, eg
- R&R 12.5mm - Plasterboard
- R&R Laminate flooring

Remove and Replace? Rest and Recreation Rolls and Royce?
I suspect it's 'Ripout and Replace' and not the US military code for prostitution.
Remove and replace, that makes sense (and is obvious now you've said it).
