Tory broadcasting.

Given this Tory government would like to see the end of public service broadcasting - like Ch4 and the BBC - wonder what sort a job their favourite, GB News, would have made of covering the funeral?

It was on GB News, Talk TV, Al Jaz, and Sky as well as the BBC, ITV, etc. All were taking the same feed. I've no idea how the commentaries differed.

There was no commentary *at all* on the BBC's offering! I had no idea WTF was going on so switched over to GBN who did an excellent job, thankfully.

Which the BBC warned us about in advance, as they thought that commentary would be intrusive in some parts. For those who wanted to know what was happening, the details were put on the BBC web site, which they also told us when warning that there would be no commentary.

One of the problems at the moment between political parties is all of the main ones are so very similar. They may dress up what their policies are to try to hoodwink their supporters, but most are centralist or right wing. There is no real left wing voice, at least not one who one might trust to not be some fanatical communist, a system which does not work either! Brian

Yeah, a considerable bunch of Labour and Conservative MPs could merge, form a new party get rid of the ideological idiots, and run this country like a well sorted company.

Considering the BBC is the mouthpiece of the government and the monarchy, good riddance!

GB News did excellent coverage with Nigel Farage doing a lot of the commentary.
