Tile drill supplier

I need to find a supplier of a good quality core type drill or equivalent suitable for drilling limestone/marble.

This is for holes for the operating lever and spout of a Hansgrohe faucet. The brass fitting is already installed in the wall behind the drywall and has two plastic tubes as shields to keep out the building crud. These are 51mm diameter and after tiling will be cut to be about 1-2mm proud of the tile surface.

The lever assembly and spout have round escutcheons of 68mm, so I am thinking to make the holes some size in between to allow for fine adjustment of the tiles while not getting close to risking the hole showing after the metal components are added at the end. This would imply a drill of around 55-57mm or thereabouts, but I can't seem to find a supplier.

Does anybody know of one? I would rather go for a reasonably known quantity rather than Ebay or equivalent.

thanks

They usually cut reasonably easily. Either diamond core or a grit edged core will do those.

52mm is a common core size:

that is going to be too tight you could try the larger one in this set:

I think that 52 would be. Although the intended tiles are sawn, I am not sure that tolerances are that close.

57 would seem to be a better option

Try Richon tools in china.

They specialise in diamond coated holes saws although you might need a pillar drill.

Thanks, I'll take a look, although they are in Hong Kong. Product prices are surprisingly low ($6), but shipping is $20. Not a problem I suppose since it nets out to £15 - not that the price within reason is a biog issue I have a drill press.
