I've got some Kef "egg" speakers as part of our surround sound system.
When new, they had a smooth silky feeling matt finish. This has now gone all icky and sticky, like rotting rubber.
Is this cleanable/removable/refurbishable?

I now avoid buying anything with this "soft touch" finish, for just that reason.
I find a Mk I thumbnail does the job, albeit slowly.
