We are replacing a 21in cooker with a 50cm model, which leaves aprox 3cm gap in the 21in space.
I'm looking for easy ideas/suggestions for hiding the gap. Anyone any ideas?

two pieces of 15 mm contiboard.
.... or one piece if you turn it though 90 degrees and cut a 30mm strip.
I agree with what Dennis and Phil said, either will work fine.
