I recently replaced my failed Manhattan Plaza HDR-S PVR (recorder) with a 'Freesat Recordable 4K TV Box'.
I lashed out and got the one with the largest (2TB) disk - £299.
This is a very versatile unit. It will accept inputs from the older-type 'universal' LNB (which uses two cables, each switching, as required, between horizontal and vertical polarized signals). It uses two tuners, so you can record two channels at the same time, and watch a third which has been recorded,
It will also accept inputs from a 'wideband' LNB. This also uses two cables, but each is dedicated to vertical and horizontal signals. Here, you can simultaneously record four channels.
It will also accept channels streamed on the internet - from your router. either wireless from the wifi signal, or via a LAN cable.
