Shower enclosure conundrum

I am planning to install a walk-in shower to replace the bath. I am looking for a 1600mm X 800mm tray and a single sheet screen with a hinged diverter panel. The problem is a high level window above the bath, A 2000mm tall screen over a 40mm high tray means the bracing bar is ending up level with the bottom of the window lintel with nothing to fix too. I have come across some enclosures with cranked bracing bars but the shower screens are not as tall so the wall fixing ends up in the same place. There are ceiling mounts but we are installing a false ceiling and using one will really complicate matters.

So there are two possible solutions neither of which is ideal. The first is to raise the tray higher off the floor therefore enabling the bracing bar to attach to the lintel which in our case is a timber one. I was hoping in our dotage to have the minimum to step over to get into the shower but an additional 50mm would ensure the bracing bar located correctly on the lintel.

The second is to obtain a piece of SS attach it to the lintel so that part of it protrudes below the lintel so I can attach the bracing bar to.

Any suggestions are welcome or better still anyone know a supplier who would sell a cranked bracing bar as a spare?

Could you attach the bracing bar on the outside of the shower?

I think ours can be put on the outside and I guess they are meant for a left or right installation.

Maybe not as "pretty" on the outside.
