The plastic frame for one of our iron manhole covers is damaged (it must have taken considerable force to bend it this much) so that the cover doesn't really sit in it comfortably. Does anyone know of a retail supplier of such a thing? I can only find frames and covers for sale, and I don't want a spare iron cover lying around :-) Is it likely that or water supplier will replace it for us?

I need a new iron cover, so if you live anywhere near sussex I'll go halves, but TBH, the last one only cost me £11.
Well, I'm surprised its plastic, mine is metal. Brian
The cheap modern replacements intended for domestic foot traffic have plastic surrounds, and very thin galvanising on the cover that lasts about 20 years if that.
You need to use the ones specified for highway use to get a decent strong metal frame.
