Hi All I have a length (15m or so) of 4mm SWA providing power to my garage. It 's currently just running on the surface (naughty I know), near to the neig hbour's fence (concrete posts + fence panels).
Our neighbour is in the process of replacing some panels and I want to take advantage of this to bury the SWA in a more approved manner, ie. some (cou gh) 600mm down with warning tape etc.
I would also like to run a length of CAT5e external Ethernet cable to the g arage as well. Is there any point to trying to run this directly parallel t o the SWA (ie. buried, for at least part of its length), or would I be bett er eg. keeping it above ground and clipping it to the fence where appropria te?
If the recommendation is to run the CAT5e ducted and underground I'd apprec iate suggestions as to the appropriate ducting to use.
Thanks a lot!
