Returning a Lithium battery to Amazon

This was a replacement battery for my DC35, whose original battery's life isnow down to 8 minutes or so. This new Chinese one lasted 5 minutes, stopped,and hasn't worked since despite being charged up overnight. So back it goes.Amazon instructions don't say how to return it, other than "don't use thepostal service". I'll find out tomorrow (by going to a post office) whetherthis is bollocks or not but meanwhile, anyone had to return a similar batteryand how did you do it?

They won't The restrictions came in when they switched to air for their shipments instead of rail. Just tell them it's a box of chocolates or something.

I had the same problem. I rang the free customer service helpline. After explaining the problem to the assistant she arranged a full refund and advised that I could keep the battery, donate it or dispose of it. Contact Amazon,

Hi I have y lithium battery to be returned to Amazon it is all wrappedup stamp on just need a company to collects it
