My Worcester Bosch 28cdi has developed a water leak and I've traced it to one of the push fit pipes going into the plate heat exchanger (the pipe with the temp sensor attached).
Although I could probably replace the o ring myself, the wife insists I call out our normal heating guy to do the job. The heat exchanger will have to be removed to replace the o ring and as the boiler is just over
10 years old, would it be prudent to replace the heat exchanger while its off, rather than have it fail within the year and have to pay the heating guy's labour charges again? With 10 years use, is the heat exchanger likely to fail soonish? A new heat exchanger will cost £90-£100.Cheers,
