Hi, He googled but can't find anything specific so any suggestions for removing permanent marker pen marks from polished floorboards?

Meths usually removes marker pen. May remove some polish too (this may help in removing the pen), try on an inconspicuous area if this might be a problem.
WD40 or similar can also often do the trick. Someone recently mentioned bug wipes from Halfords for removing permanent marker ink from car paintwork too.
