Removing conservatory roof glazing bars..

Aug 02, 2010 0 Replies

Hello, I need to remove one panel of double cavity twin-wall polycarbonate in the roof of my conservatory in order to do some work on the wall above.

I am wondering if anyone has any tips on whether the glazing bars can be removed by prising up on their bottom ends as a start.

Is there any other way of freeing them while causing no damage so that both bars and panel can be reinstated once the work is done ?

I am presuming that it would not be possible to slide the panel down or down and out and replace it without taking off the bars on either side.

Thank you for reading, and for your thoughts.
