Hi all. A nursery(plant) I volunteer at has tasked me with finding the best way to secure reinforced clear plastic sheet to wooden frames which will fit over cold frames. You know the stuff with a square string mesh embedded in a plastic sheet.

I guess it depends largely on the frame size. For something less than 1m x1m, I might use stainless staples from a staple gun. For significant wind loading, perhaps flat headed nails normally used for felt roofing.
Not sure how expensive it would be, and if the sheet has a few cm spare at the edges, but I wondered if you could fold each edge over a piece of
6mm dowel leaving a couple of cm free, and nail through both thicknesses. That would allow the full length of the sheet edge along the dowel to take the strain rather than a few nail holes.Soup snipped-for-privacy@gmail.com wrote
The best approach is to wrap the sheet around a lath and screw that to the frame.
Plastic eyelets possibly?
Eg. -
If it isn't UV resistant, then it will disintegrate after a couple of years anyway.
