Hot on the heels of the excellent advice I've received regarding possible damp, I'm now looking for recommendations for an NICEIC registered electrician in Nottingham (West Bridgford if possible)
I need someone to check that the house is earthed to a suitable standard, and I'd be happy to pay for an inspection, rather than rely on a free estimate. One-man-band style preferred.
Ive used Frederic Lamb from Stapleford before - around the =A3100 mark for the report. The quote for the remedial works was on the high side so imported a sparkie from Liverpool to do the same job at half the price (plus petrol - I drove him) for a days work.

They don't have to be a NICEIC registered. There are other organisations who provide the required piece of paper NAPIT, BSI etc. You might find someone who belongs to a smaller org may be cheaper. Just a thought.
