Actually from the sort of thing going on in the street outside my hous with shouting and abuse and all of that, I fear he could be right. I suspect everyone ran out of stuff and everyone decided to visit the supermarkets during wrinkly and disabled hour all at the same time. Brian

I only hop along the M1 between two junctions, on Friday and Saturday it was still quiet, yesterday it was noticeably busier (but not back to normal).

Dead people don't cough, and I'd have thought the risk of leaking bodily fluids would have made undertakers careful in the process of dealing with bodies anyway.

If it's like my car (and the previous one, from a different manufacturer) it won't start next time.

Both of them hated being started but not warmed up. Struggled to start at all next time. Given that your battery won't be at its best that isn't great.

At least let it warm up.
