To be honest I think since unification they just want to have as many people as possible to help with the huge cash probblem related to joining together both bits of Germany again. I see no evidence of an attempt to get control, heck they can't even elect in a government, so its left to the pen pushers to push their pens onward to fund the mess.
It does make me realise that perhaps we just do not need a government in the first place, what is the point? Brian
