Then there is the joy of seeing what you looked like from arms lenght 3 seconds previously.......

Selfie stick? For those who can't see enough of themselves?

Think we may be breeding a generation of Narcissists.

Luckily in my mind I still have brown/reddy hair and an unblemished completion, but in reality its grey and white hair and several old injury sites on my face and crows feet under my chin, I'm sure. There are some advantages in not being able to see oneself age.

There are some venues which ban these devices. I still think its a great idea for criminals to nick your hardware.

Useful if you want to examine an area that you cannot see, I recently took a photo of my back to see if the bump that kept itching was a spot, insect bite or something that needed further investigation. Blowing the picture up it looked like something was stuck in the area so got the missus to invesigate. Found it was propably a thorn picked up when I was crawling around a Rose bush before I pruned it.

And some may wish to see if their PIA is a case of Farmer Giles or just the result of a good Curry. Just make sure such photos don't get on the web.

Never had my camera nicked like that, it's only a few metres away. And you aim it at the other people you're going to stand with, or if you're not with anyone, note the height of a tree or something, it's not difficult.

Yes I agree, but you could look in a mirror for that surely? I on the other hand am stuck with this sort of problem, heck even if I bleed in bed from something I don't know. Brian

Yes, I use two mirrors to see my back for example. Simply hold a handheld one behind you and look at it in the bathroom mirror on the wall.
