Question - electrical sanity check

I've laid underground SWA feeds from the house CU to a couple of sheds (and a Well area). The feeds have B20 MCBs at the head and RCDs at the load end; all remote CUs have TT earthing. One of the sheds is about 30m long and has a couple of walled-off areas down one end (used as log stores) without lights so I planned to run T&E from an MCB in the shed CU to a light switch in these areas. It's just occurred to me that I could run 1.5mm and use it for a single socket as well as the light. AFAICS there is no problem doing this using (say) a B10 MCB - thoughts?(PS I've found a large roll of 1.5 red/black that it would be good to use-up)

I found some old 3 core and no earth on a job last month. The red white and blue colours. I believe it was changed in 1966 to red yellow blue and the earth was added - probably a 14th edition amendment.

Not just me with that wish then then?

I can usually find that sort of MCB on the shelf at work should you ever need another one.

Thanks for the offer. When I tested this the Legrand RCCB failed to do anything useful (bu&&er!) so I'm now waiting for a replacement :-(

I bought it for the old house. The double garage had a single power point, and I put a ring in. This was in old colours days. It was cheaper to buy a drum of twice what I needed that to buy half a drum cut to length.

When we moved in here we had to get the house completely rewired.

The rubber wiring next to the thatch was a little bit of a concern!
