Pump Rating For Power Shower

I'm installing a power shower and wanted some advice on power ratings for the pump. After looking through old threads on this group I have decided to purchase a Stuart Turner Pump. I would like to know which one to buy.

The pump will be used for a single shower only, but we would like a good flow.

The pumps seem to go from 1.0 Bar up to 4.0 Bar. Do I need to buy the more powerful pumps or would I be wasting money.

As long as the pipe runs are no more than a few metres and you run most of it in 22mm, then a 1.8 bar unit wwill do a good job. If you think that you may add another shower, then perhaps the 3 bar.

The Showermate range are good, but the Monsoon range in brass are a bit better and quieter
