I recently had to buy some 110mm overground solvent-weld soil pipe. I am surprised at the cost of a 3m length,not to mention the price of the fittings. I can appreciate the costs of storage ,as they might take up some space, but where do they justify £18 + vat for a round piece of plastic tube?
Buy it elsewhere. Don't go to the sheds for that sort of thing. Even screwfix only charge £26 for two lengths of 3m and that includes delivery and vat. Always go to the builders merchant scruffily dressed and ask for things by the proper name to get best chance of a discount.
