i am trying to remove the cover sheath (circular chrome) in order to remove pop up waste pleas advise...ps there is not a little screw at the bottom

Why did you start another thread about the same subject . I did tell you what to do . Otherwise have a look behind the bath overflow to see if there is anyhting there holding it on but more likely it is a push fit but with time it will have become stuck so just prise or pull it off. Wrap a towel or cloth round the cap and heave and twist . Stuart
