Not added any recently, but I was away for most of the weekend, when I came back thunderbird retrieved 500 messages and junked 310 of them ...
Probably not enough :-)

"Delete post, ignore sub-thread"
I wonder what is achieved by such declarations?
There are a number whose headers I pass over unread and delete but that's my business and no-one else's.
Yes, when I see posts from some individuals I just ignore them. Google Groups doesn't appear to have a killfile app
Yes most of them not known apparently out side of a ham radio group and a legal group. Brian
Well in the main I just pass over the ones that are basically almost like a conversation via email, and indeed several odd treads after posting slightly sarcastic comments to them. To be fair that did stop certain people here replying to them, but the rest, well you get to know names but some of those hidden are ones not seen before and may well be sock puppets of well known trolls. Brian
Some of the trolls here reminded me of Monty Pythons argument sketch, to be honest! Brian
Thats what I do, just ignore, it's easier and gives the option to change your mind at will.
Are vegans allowed in the ham radio group ?
whisky-dave was thinking very hard :
I can change my mind at will, I can just delete the filter, but I'm unlikely to change my mind. Most are regulars in the filter, they only escape by changing their names.
Making them not as much use then as manually looking at a post.
In as much as once all their posts stay filtered out until I decide to delete it, or they change their name - yes, it certainly works well.
