Pigeons

Not been to T5 but otherwise LHR is the worst airport I use. Staff don't care, layout is bad, parking bad, public transport is bad, shops overpriced, even so called tax free is bad. My experience is Flights usually unable to land on time, so left flying in circles. Burgerking in T3 is sort of ok.

Now that it's more or less working, it's quite reasonable - the lounges are fine.

I agree, but frankly this is a problem at every airport. Tax free isn't worth it anywhere - they use list prices and offer a meagre discount from that.

Oh dear....

Pigeons and filthy scum of the earth and the best thing to do is to bash them with something before they infest you and your family with something horrible. They are the worst of birds. They breed several times a year and are quite happy to live and feed in their own excrement.

"The Pigeon is a stout seed or fruit-eating bird with a small head, short legs, and a cooing voice, typically having gray and white plumage. Pigeons have a restricted natural resident range in western and southern Europe, North Africa and into southwest Asia. Its habitat is natural cliffs, usually on coasts. Its domesticated form is the Feral Pigeon. Pigeon droppings deface and accelerate the deterioration of buildings and increase the cost of maintenance. Large amounts of droppings may kill vegetation and produce an objectionable odor. Pigeon manure deposited on park benches, statues, cars, and unwary pedestrians is aesthetically displeasing. Pigeons may carry and spread diseases to people and livestock through their droppings. They are known to carry or transmit Pigeon ornithosis, encephalitis, Newcastle disease, cryptococcosis, toxoplasmosis, salmonella food poisoning, and several other diseases. Additionally, under the right conditions Pigeon manure may harbor airborne spores of the causal agent of histoplasmosis, a systemic fungus disease that can infect humans. The ectoparasites of Pigeons include various species of fleas, lice, mites, ticks, and other biting insects, some of which readily bite people. Pigeon Control and Pigeon Removal is the only way to Control Pigeons and Pigeon Breeding. A Pigeon Nuisance in the home can upset daily life and Removing Pigeons from the home can be even more challenging. Pigeon varieties vary greatly in size. Pigeon control for large Pigeons can be a challenge as well as Pigeon Control for small Pigeons. Pigeon Animal Control or Removal of Pigeons may be essential for human health and controlling Pigeon Populations is the first step."

Don't ask where, many links tell the same story.
