Outdoor mains sockets that will accept many/most plugs, wall warts, etc.

We're setting up a permanent gazebo with seats etc. I have power via a buried SWA there already because it used to supply a shed (which we moved in favour of the gazebo).

So I want to install some sockets so that we can charge phones, maybe run some 'pretty lights', etc. The outdoor sockets I have installed elsewhere for powering garden tools and such don't look very nice and also probably won't accept all the things that people are likely to want to plug in.

Are there any outdoor rated sockets that present a flat face to plug things into and/or are there other solutions such as larger weatherproof enclosures?

Mount your sockets in something like this. Cut a piece out of the floor for cables to hang through. Fit a little shelf for phones to rest on. I've done quite a few like this, often with other mains equipment in there like PSUs for sensors etc.

Take a photo of the wall it's fixed on, get a signwriter to print the image on sticky vinyl, and camouflage the thing. :)

Or you can get the floral and shrubbery vinyls for prettying up wheelie bins.

I got it from ScrewFix but they no longer seem to stock them. They do need to be wall mounted otherwise you seem to get water ingress. no idea how...

Yes I have one of those that I hook onto a couple of screws in the side wall of the house, for use with the external christmas lights (4 way block, time switches, wall wart psus). Works well, stays dry (although there are a couple of drainage holes pre drilled in the bottom). The cable clamping arrangement works well with a mix of cable sizes.
