It's just more polly waffle.
The reason the first world still has car tariffs and other constraints on trade is because it is the main manufacturing area which has not yet been exported to asia, particularly with the Japanese car manufacturers which are forced to manufacture in the west. How long that continues to work is another matter.
The west does still completely dominate the manufacture of pharmaceuticals, essentially because of non tariff barriers to their manufacture in places where it is much cheaper to do that like India and China.
Ship building has been gone for a long time now.
The west still completely dominates aircraft manufacturing and it really doesn?t matter much what the TTIP does about that.

Nothing new at all
?People of the same trade seldom meet together, even for merriment and diversion, but the conversation ends in a conspiracy against the public, or in some contrivance to raise prices.?
