OT: selling on ebay

Have only ever purchased before, trying to list a few items from my parents' house, can create the description OK, when I go to load photos (from local hard drive) the preview looks fine, but when it does the upload image gets replaced with a random solid pastel colour, have turned off ghostery and uBlock for ebay, still the same. What gives?
