He needs to improve his planning, but he showed flexibility and resilience under pressure: when saw he was running out of space after the block caps "LAWN" he switched to lower case and replaced a wide "w" with a narrow "e".

But I may be irreversibly damaged by years doing performance assessments where one was supposed to be positive and supportive.

When I worked for an Electricity Board, the foreman of a labourer team had usually got the job because he was the one who could read and write.

But then you lose the etymology - if you write theatre as theater, it is no longer obvious that it has come from French.

maybe one duct ducks under another duct.

You've heard the expression "the ducking ducting ducter's ducked the ducking duct under the unducked duct"?

The lower case e is the biggest letter!

What performance assessment? He can cut a lawn better than anyone anyone else I know. That's good enough for me.

A few years ago people might remember the huge fire under part of the elevated section of the A4 near Hammersmith.

Jeremy Vine invited in an 'expert' to discuss the reason why the road was closed. Apparently it was because of all the 'Spalding' that had occurred to the concrete.

My Tesco superstore had a refit which included some new aisles for new product ranges.

I was an employee at the time and the staff restaurant weekly newsletter announced that we were having a glutton free aisle.....

I had visions of the shelving on both sides being just a few inches apart to prevent gluttons from walking down it......

It was actually full of gluten free products when it opened!
