Hi,
I have one of these useless mini-bar fridges that I basically only use to keep the milk from going bad.
However, now it starts getting fresh in the kitchen and I can leave the milk outside and it still stays relatively fresh.
These mini-fridges, despite being small, consume a lot of energy (about £1 a day on top of standing charges, on a SSE PAYG smart meter tariff).
I know that I should clean the fridge when I switch it off (defrosting is not necessary as there's no freezer department) and that I should leave the door open.
How should I clean the fridge? Is water with vinegar a good solution?
How long should I leave the door open once the fridge has been switched off and cleaned?
Once the fridge is clean and dry, can I just close the door and wait until next heatwave?
