It was meant to make you think. Any time an electric car isn't actually being driven, it could be on charge (given an adequate number of charging points, which could include during a channel crossing). Or simply stopping for a comfort break.
That would make sense for Rolls Royce too. Can use any pump, but have extra special ones too. Wonder why no car maker ever thought of this?
But if Tesla are going to use some special connector so only they can use Tesla charging points, some will find a way of stopping them using general ones.
There will doubtless be some nitrogen oxides produced in the combustion process.

Of course it does given that it uses the air with the hydrogen and still has to lubricate the cylinders etc.
Because there?s already a massive network of petrol stations. EV charging stations are in relatively short supply. Recharging anxiety is one of the major worries for many EV owners. Having an exclusive network of chargers that only your brand of car can use has been a very strong selling point for Tesla. You really are being slow on the uptake today.
FFS, are you trying to double down on making utterly stupid comments because you?re doing a great job! Early Teslas had a different socket but they all use the standard type 2 socket shared by 95% of EVs these days.

Why would they bother ?
Rollers used to need 5-star petrol; very few filling stations had the pumps. (I think the they just had two tanks: 2-star and 4-star: they mixed them for 3-star.)
There wasn't when Rolls first started making cars.
So in your world, it's OK for a Tesla to use generic charging points, but also have ones specific to them. Presumably on public land?

Rolls weren't the only cars which recommended 5 Star. Early Rover V-8s did too. But both could be run on 4 Star.
