Wait until Apple do cars.

A recent news item on the radio said that in the main the problems are due to sub-stations potentially being overloaded.

They'll provide them with magsafe connectors.

See? Now the rubber is starting to hit the road.

Like a GPO Comma van (the ones with the driver sitting ahead of the front wheels) ?

You mean the J4? Bloody nightmare thing. Two experiences.

  1. As a teenager I used to have to drive a diesel crewbus when I worked on highways. Twelve passengers all crammed in, all big blokes.
  2. We found a man in his J4 camper in a very isolated spot. I had to drive the thing to the nearest hospital 30 miles away along dreadful roads.

Bill

Yes but I bet you can't charge an electric car while it's travelling.

Bill

Use the generator to power the electric motor directly :-)

Not when the country isn't a little island off the coast of europe.

Why does it have to be a desert ?

With all of ours you can.

All and sundry never do, most obviously with the women.

You wouldn't even be able to work out where someone has pissed.

Great, the last thing we need is more whinging poms.

They don't even provide a charger for charging their phones in your car.

Sheesh, which rock have you been hiding under? Teslas don?t *need* their own chargers. Elon was smart enough to realise that rolling out a network of chargers that *only* Teslas can use would be a major selling point.

We should probably distinguish between what's legal and what's moral.

I found an 10.9 billion with no trouble. What are your sources?

Andy

I understand that's what the Honda hybrids do.

Andy

The only reason the ambulance with its blue lights on managed to catch up and overtake me today on the M1 was because some woman in the RHL in front slowed down to 65MPH for a speed camera. So I had to move left and let them pass.

The only way to get in front after that would have been to undertake the ambulance.

You are not missing much.

I've never done that it in a car that does 60MPG, but when cars used to give 30MPG it was a regular occurrence.

Cornwall and back in a day used to be no problem (one fill up). I am getting too old for that.

Non stop trips to Slovakia - yes I used to do 1300 miles non stop.

Can it be done in summer with the AC on?

Please tell me you weren't watching at Morrisons petrol station in Donny last week.

An attractive female ran out of petrol whilst queueing for a petrol pump (it was busy).

She shouted for help.

Several young males stampeded across the forecourt from different cars to offer assistance and push her car towards petrol pump no 4.

Because her engine was not running she could not handle the heavy steering and she ran into the pump.

I would have offered to help but I wanted diesel from pump 7 and I have a bad back and she was too young for me etc etc

Why? The great and 'good' don't so why should we proles?

Bill

And who gets to decide what's moral? You?
