Its the Battery car con ...... its a political stop gap expedient. Contrary to huge PR campaign, Battery cars are not the answer. Batteries are heavy, take a long time to charge, and capacity reduces with age ... and they fail.
2nd hand cars are going to nose dive in value ...... if a Tesla 3 battery fails outside of warranty you have to scrap the car ... a battery costs £20,000+ In the US they have seen a huge number of failures.For me Hydrogen is the future - the most abundant element, produces power with zero emissions, and can be made form 100% green electricity.
