Did you notice the bit near the bottom of the article about a possible cable to Iceland, so we could buy hydro-electic power from them?
Interesting that they show "tower" construction whereas your Wiki article suggests parabolic trough is more practicable.
There are several in France and Spain been running a while.
Is this the one that is using sodium or something like that as the heatable medium.
